At Rail Europe, we are always looking for ways to protect our customers from credit and debit card fraud, which is why we have signed up to the 3D secure scheme.

What is it?

Verified by Visa and Mastercard Secure Code are security programmes from your card issuer which give you extra protection when shopping online. They allow you to create your own personal password, known only to you and your card issuer, for use as an extra security measure each time you use your card online. Rail Europe is one of a number of merchants providing this added security for customers to give you peace of mind when shopping online.

how does it work?

You only need to register with Verified by Visa or Mastercard Secure Code once, to create a password for your card. Whenever you shop online in the future using your card you will ba asked to enter this password as an additional validation before the order is confirmed.

What do I need to do to register?

To register with Verified by Visa or Masteracard Secure Code you need to complete the details in the box on the right so that your card issuer can verify your card. After entering your personal details you will then be asked to create a personal password which will be used to authenticate future orders placed online with your card at participating online retailers. The details you enter in this process will be submitted to your card issuer aver a secure link; this information will not be held/viewed on any Rail Europe system.

What if I already registered?

If you have already registered you just need to enter your personal password as indicated in the box on the right to continue.

Train travel for disabled passengers
